Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan Steamrolls Through Aamir's Week One Record
Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan is shattering box office records into
smithereens with each passing day. The actor's eighth-in-a-row
blockbuster has posted the highest ever week one collection of any
Bollywood film, steamrolling through the benchmarks previously set by
his fellow Khans - Aamir's PK and Shah Rukh's Happy New Year. Trade
analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: #BajrangiBhaijaan Fri 27.25 cr, Sat 36.60
cr, Sun 38.75 cr, Mon 27.05 cr, Tue 21.40 cr, Wed 18.02 cr, Thu 15.55

also made the quickest 100 crores ever, in its first weekend. Despite
having been in theatres for just a week, it's already Salman's third
biggest film after 2014's Kick and 2013's Ek Tha Tiger:

released last Friday, reunites Salman with three previous collaborators
who have delivered blockbusters with him before: director Kabir Khan who
also made Ek Tha Tiger, Kareena Kapoor who was his heroine in
Bodyguard, and Nawazuddin SSiddiqui who appeared in Kick.
